Canning Green Tomatoes

Have them all Winter long
Clean your green tomatoes and slice them
Place in cold salted water (I use about 1/4 cup salt to large kettle)
Let them sit for 4 hours
Place in canning jars (wide mouth jars are best for this)
Fill jars with hot boiling water. Place your lids and seals on tightly.
Place in hot bath canner for 10-15 minute (take out when they have just barely turned color)
