Eggnog

We used to have this on Christmas eve.
Ingredients:
12 large eggs
1/3/cup sugar
4 cups milk
3 cups heavy cream
1 tsp nutmeg (additional nutmeg for garnishment)
Preparation:
In large bowl with mixer on medium speed beat eggs till foamy. Gradually add sugar and beat until thick & lemon color(approx. 5 min)
Reduce speed to low. Gradually add milk and 2 cups cream & nutmeg.
In medium bowl whip cream until stiff peaks form. Use wire whisk to gently fold cream into eggnog.
Sprinkle with nutmeg and serve.
You can add rum also....
