*Disclaimer*  I got the idea for this bull from a very small piece of free animated clipart, which I found on the Internet, the original had 8 frames and doing what looked like some sort of Country Western dance....I thought that with a few changes, such as clothing and my own shapes etc it would make an ideal Bull Ballet dancer...well, as much as you can get a bull to look the part! LOL

Part 3

Now for ze Bull! *s*

Step 1*  Open up your saved 'bull' image that you saved earlier...now you did remember to do that, right?  Good...other wise you were going to have to do most of the cow steps again and you wouldn't want to do that...would you?. *g*

Now there are some things that we don't need here, as we are going to give him some masculine stuff ...the layers that we need to delete or change, are the head, eyes, mouth, tutu, right leg and straps on slippers.....but we will do that step by step so that you don't get rid of the wrong one*s*

Save !

Step 2*   Click on the 'head' layer...click on Edit...Clear...so now the layer is empty but we will keep that layer and make a new head for him.

Foreground  #000000

Background  #FFFFFF

  Preset Shapes, Ellipse

      Antialias...checked

      Create as Vector checked

      Line width 1

Draw an oval shape and move the nodes to you get this weird shape above right. *s*

Select the 'right eye' layer....delete this one as we don't need it.

Now select the 'left eye' layer....Edit....Clear...same as we did in the head layer.

Foreground  #C0C0C0

Background  #FFFFFF

Make an ellipse shape for his eye...make the foreground colour Null and change the background colour to #000000 ....make a small circle inside of the eye.

Duplicate this whole eye and mirror to the other side.

Select the 'mouth' layer....Edit....Clear...

Now using black as the background, draw an ellipse and shape like this one....for his new mouth.  >>>>

Foreground  #000000

Background  #FFFFFF

Add a New Vector Layer...for his 'teeth'  using the 'Rounded Rectangle shape, make him a few teeth...he's a happy chappy this one!

Now activate the 'nostril layer', make the shape bigger, change the shape a bit too if you want...rotate and put into position.....then do the same with the other nostril.

Activate the 'nose mark' layer and click on move into position, reshape and resize if necessary.  To change the colour...in your layer palette, click on the plus sign next to 'nose mark'...then right click on 'Ellipse' and choose 'Properties'....you can change it in the new window that pops up.

Add a New Vector Layer...for his 'ear'

Foreground  #000000

Background  #FFFFFF

Draw a small oval and shape for his ear...move into position...under the head layer....duplicate this layer and mirror.

Keep the ear layer highlighted and add a New Vector Layer...for his 'horn'  draw a longer ellipse and shape like this>>>>

What a handsome dude this guy is!  *s*

    Save!

Step 3* Activate the 'arm' layer, flip, reshape and resize if you wish.  Do the same with the other arm.....then you need to move the 'hands' too.

 Save!

Step 4* Click on the 'right leg' layer...then click on Edit...Clear.

Draw a long oval shape...add extra nodes and shape like this one. >>>>

Now activate the right slipper and delete the straps....rotate the slipper so that it fits well onto the new leg.

Click on the left slipper and delete the straps too.

Change the colour of his 'spots' in the same way as you did for the 'nose mark'

Save!

Step 5* Now highlight the 'tutu' layer...click on Edit....Clear....change the name to 'tights'.

Foreground  #24384A

Background  #365878

  Preset Shapes, Ellipse

      Antialias...checked

      Create as Vector checked

      Line width 1

Draw an oval shape add more nodes and make a pair of tights to cover his legs.   Or if you wish you can use the Draw tool on Point to Point.  I think that this was the part that made him smile so much.  LOL

Select the 'top' layer and make it more 'macho' looking for him.

Okay...now you can save him in PSP format and also as a Vector Preset shape as you did for the cow on page 1.

Save!

Step 6* Decorate your bull in the same way as you did for the cow.

Here is my finished bull. *s*

Don't forget to save him as a tube!

There were so many things that I had planned for these Cow Ballet Characters but just didn't have the time to accomplish them....maybe you will come up with some of these ideas that I had...looking forward to seeing them all as I know they are going to be good.

Thanks for doing my tutorial and I hope that you had as much fun as I did making it. *VBG*

Have Fun! and  Email if you have any problems!
