Town Meeting

Prairie Township Community Room

Meeting opened at 6:30 PM with Betty Gipe, Max Lines, and Sharon Jessup present. Also present were Sally Greene, David Greene, and George Savage, and Bill Utt. Raul Pinon, Jr. was absent due to being in Florida.

Budget additional appropriations were discussed. The board agreed to transfer Rainy Day and Excess Levy fund to General. Riverboat funds will also be transferred to General Fund. Additional Appropriations will be needed for General Fund.

Dog problem was discussed. Brenda Huffman’s dog was reported to of bit a child. Perry and Brian went to the residence and the dog attempted to attack Brian. Brian maced the dog.

Bill Utt, representing the volunteer Fire Department, was present to find out if we had gotten any money for the new equipment. Sharon reported emailing State Board of accounts, Bill Vinson, and was waiting on a reply.

Financial statements were given to the board members, both town and water.

August 8^th was discussed for the fund raiser. No one wants to volunteer to help.

With no other business, register of vouchers signed, and meeting adjourned.
