Betty Gipe opened the meeting at 6:30 PM with Raul Pinon Jr., Max Lines, Betty Gipe, and Sharon Jessup present. Also present were Kenny Stockton, Bill Utt, George Savage, Sally Greene, Jeremy and Elizabeth Bristow.

Minutes were read and approved as read.

Kenny reported lines fixed at the old Lucas residence on N Walnut Street. Kenny reported that we need an emergency plan put in place. This needs to be done by November. We have a template to work with.

Bill Utt presented the need for new equipment for the fire department. The dispatch system is being updated and the present equipment will not be usable. Sharon will check with state board to find out if we can help out of Motor Vehicle Highway Fund. The amount in which the fire department needs is $15,304.91. The fire department can come up with 5,000.00.

Ideas were discussed for fund raiser for the fire department and Christmas Decorations. A hog roast was discussed as well as golf tournament and bake sales.

Sharon presented a letter from Stan Fitzgerald requesting and adjustment to his billing. He found a commode leak and is working on fixing the problem. After the board examined his past and present usage, the board is going to table a decision until more research can be done. Betty suggested we stop billing him penalties. Board agreed to stop billing penalties.

Sharon presented the financial statements. She showed the board that we are paying more in trash than we are collecting. Betty suggested that we increase the billing to $12.00 per month. Betty motioned that we charge 12.00 per month effective July 1^st billing. Raul Pinon seconded. Motion passed 3-0. Sharon also showed the depreciation fund in which we will be taking the new wand system out of. The balance in the fund is around 32,000.00 of which the new equipment will be around 30,000.00

With no other business, register of vouchers signed, and meeting adjourned.
