Attack on Freedom

On September 11, 2001 several terrorist attacks were made upon New York City, the Pentagon, and another in Pennsylvania. Many, many, innocent people lost their lives, not even knowing what hit them. These terrorist used our own planes to crash into the World Trades Buildings in New York with innocent victims aboard those planes. Same thing happened in destroying the Pentagon. I was, as many people, glued to the television watching the unthinkable and unbelievable. I tried to imagine how the innocent people aboard the planes use felt when they knew they were going to hit the buildings. I felt so much sadness to think of all the families it effected.. My heart and my thoughts are will all those who lost family members, friends, co-workers, as well as all the firemen and policemen who lost their lives trying to save others.

I sincerely pray that these terrorist are brought to justice. Some people think we should forgive, but God does that. I am human and this was a very inhuman act upon so many people win which I can not find any forgiveness, I pray that God can. I think another one of the saddest thing I watched was the Children dancing in the streets, passing out candy, celebrating the victory in what they had done to America. I feel very sorry for those children as they are being taught to hate people in which they don't even know....but no matter what they are being taught....terrorism has to be stopped.

This attack was not only upon the American people, as we were merely targeted, but upon Freedom. Help get the word out that we will not tolerate this any longer. Please feel free to use any graphics here that you may want to post to your site.

An email I received that sums it up
An open letter to the Terrorists
Well, you hit the World Trade Center, but you missed America.
You hit the Pentagon, but you missed America
You used helpless American bodies, to take out other American bodies, but like a poor marksman, you STILL missed America.
Why? Because of something you guys will never understand. America isn't about a building or two, not about financial centers, not about military centers, America isn't about a place, America isn't even about a bunch of bodies.
America is about an IDEA. An idea, that you can go someplace where you can earn as much as you can figure out how to, live for the most part, like you envisioned living, and pursue Happiness. (No guarantees that you'll reach it, but you can sure try!)
Go ahead and whine your terrorist whine, and chant your terrorist litany:
"If you can not see my point, then feel my pain."
This concept is alien to Americans.
We live in a country where we don't have to see your point, but you're free to have one.
We don't have to listen to your speech, but you're free to say one.
Don't know where you got the strange idea that everyone has to agree with you.
There's a spirit that tends to take over people who come to this country, looking for opportunity, looking for liberty, looking for freedom. Even if they misuse it.
You guys seem to be incapable of understanding that we don't live in America, America lives in US! American Spirit is what it's called. And killing s few thousand of us, or a few million of us, won't change it. Most of the time, it's pretty happy-go-lucky kind of Spirit.....Until we're crossed in a cowardly manner, then it becomes an entirely different kind of Spirit.
Wait until you see what we do with the Spirit, this time.
Sleep tight, if you can. We're coming.

Kind Regards, Alison McSweeney

AMEN
