My husband and I met in early spring of 1966, just shortly after his 29th birthday. We dated for a short time and then decided to marry on September3,1966 just before my 19th birthday. We were married by Fr. Timothy Healy at 9am at Our Lady of Perpetual Help church in northern Indiana.
My husband work at one of the steel mills in East Chicago, Indiana. He retired after 42 yrs service, well almost. He passed 2 days before he offically retired.
He also served in the armed forces from 1954 to 1957. He was stationed in Germany.
My husband loved reading(a history buff) and watching movies. We have raised 3 strong boy's that we both are very proud of. They have turned out to be fine young men.
And I end this with a message to my dear husband, I love you and miss you....
